I am a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. My treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. I incorporate a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, I work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
With over ten years experience as a clinician, I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are individual, couples and family counseling. I also has an extensive background in child and adolescent issues.
In addition, I am a past adjunct professor at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California where I taught courses in Drug and Alcohol Studies as well as psychology.
I hold a Doctoral degree in Psychology and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist .
